What style of photography do you do?
There are two styles of photography when it comes to weddings, Photojournalistic and Traditional. At Dawn K. Moyer Photography, we specialize in offering both. For your special day we offer packages with two photographers, one will be photographing traditional while the other will be photographing photojournalistic.
Traditional photography is considered all your choreographed photographs. While photojournalistic is capturing the moments as they happen.
What type of equipment do you use?
I use Nikon Digital professional Cameras along with Mamiya Medium Format Film Cameras. Whether you prefer film or digital, we have the capability to offer both. It's your personal choice.
What makes you different from the competition?
I offer reasonable packages, albums, and I have a studio. I do not work out of my home. When you hire ME you get ME. I will be with you, step by step. I envision having a long-term relationship with you. I will guarantee total satisfaction.
We offer so much more than just pictures!
We want to capture the magical moment when you say "I do," and the love that you share. We will photograph formal and photojournalistic at no additional cost to you. With all packages we will arrive 2 hours before the ceremony unless your package has unlimited time. All digital images are color balanced and corrected for density and contrast also we retouch images so they are perfect when you receive them! We also show up to the rehearsal to introduce ourselves and to see how your ceremony will be handled. And, guess what, this is free too!
Can I see samples of your work?
Of course! I also suggest you set up an appointment to meet with me to see samples of albums that I offer, along with viewing more images here.
How much time is included in your packages?

How long will it take to develop my photos?
With Digital proofs, every image is color corrected and checked for density and contrast. In other words every image passes over my desk before going to the lab. Your proofs will be ready approximately 4-6 weeks after your wedding date. You will pick your proofs up at my studio (appointment needed).
Do you require a retaining fee for your services?
A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required upon reserving my services for your special day. The balance is due 1-2 weeks before the ceremony.
When will we meet to go over the final details of the wedding?
We will schedule an appointment 1-2 weeks before your wedding to finalize details.
Do you have a CD with images on it that you offer?
Be very careful when a photographer offers to give you a CD with your images. The reason is your images may not have been color corrected, sized properly or retouched. You may be saving money in the short term, but you will lack the quality in your final printed image.
